Sloppy Joe

This XKCD comic is quite trenchant (and hilarious).

On cue, the boxed of the world have already accepted the challenge and have started to hunt down pictures of not Barry Zuckercorn chowing down on sandwiches like they are hot Ding-Dongs.

My preference is for the (albeit heretical) double fisted ice cream cone.  There’s something about the intensity of his stare mixed with the enormity of his appetite that says, “This here is a man who means business.”

“Amtrak doesn’t just carry us from one place to another–it makes things possible that otherwise wouldn’t be. For 36 years, I was able to make most of … birthday parties, to get home to read bedtime stories, to cheer for my children at their soccer games. Simply put, Amtrak gave me–and countless other Americans–more time with my family. That’s worth immeasurably more to me than the fare printed on the ticket.”
