Consumer Reports seems a little confused about the iPhone 4…



  1. FIRST!!!

    It’s the problem with ratings that don’t assign lexicographical priority to certain qualities. I’ll bet Consumer Report’s system is set up so that, in theory, a phone that lacks a mouthpiece (are they still called that?) but is chalk full of gimcracks could be highest rated in the field.

    The other possibility is that CR rightly thinks smartphones are, despite their semantics and mouthpieces, dumb.
